I am really happy that you are doing ok! Remember, everytime Nicodemon fights you and gets defeated ,you are stronger and Nic is weaker. So congratulations, keep kicking ash. And never ever let your guard down!
Remember as Kaise r said, to be nice to yourself and reward your nonsmoking!
Hugs

Christina, now is the time to start the hobby you've been putting off. Or donate your time to your favorite charity. Paint your bedroom. Clean your entire house to get rid of the smoke smell. Do laundry to get rid of the smoke smell from your fall/winter cloths. Rent the movie you've been putting off for months. Rearrange furniture so you have a new environment and routine. Hang out with non-smoking friends. Do whatever you need to do to fight the boredom. Even if you have to reply to every posting here since Jan 1, 2009!!! Nah, you don't have to do that! :) But please keep posting if you get cravings. Somebody is always near by!

Yes, don't give those days back. Boredom? If you only live my life. Presently, I'm on disability. 24/7/365 of nothingness and winter's coming. I can't find enough to fill up my days, so I sleep a little longer, eat a little more, and am dealing with restlessness that I believe will go away. I originally doubted that I could quit because I knew that boredom was a large part of the reason why I'm smoked so much. Some days I'm amazed when I think about how I've gone all of these days without smoking while bored 3/4 of the time. I apparently really and truly do not want to smoke ever again. I know that smoking will only add to the boredom because I am knowledgeable about and have experienced all there is to smoking. I won't experience anything new. It will just be more of that same old boring pattern.

Nicodemon alert!!! It was too good to be true. I know the trigger - pure boredom. But it's a BIG one. I know what I'm supposed to do and I'm not giving in... BUT let me tell you - it's not easy...
I cannot, will not give up these eight days!!!
