The distress center of Toronto is a crisis and distress line.  I  416-408-HELP (4357)  According to their website the offer "...emotional support, crisis intervention, suicide prevention and linkage to emergency help when necessary."  Hopefully this is what you are looking for.

Hi Breezin,

There are certainly crisis lines to call.  The numbers would vary depending on where you are located.  I am not sure if there are lines to just chat with people but possibly. Members, any suggestions?

Hi All:

Does anyone know of any resources such as telephone support lines you can call to chat about how you are feeling.  Sometimes it helps to talk to someone with a sympathetic ear.

Any suggestions welcome.  Thanks
