Beckylynn,

Herbal supplements may provide great therapeutic benefits.  However, it is known that natural alternatives are not always safe. Some supplements have been shown to interact with medications, cause allergic reactions or aggravate certain medical conditions.

Furthermore, the safety of many herbal supplements for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding is not yet known. We advise you to consult with your doctor or pharmacist before commencing any alternative therapy.

I just heard about 5HTP over on the depression site.  A few people are using it and it seems to be helping them.
I also looked it up on the internet and it is natural but should not be taken with other antidepressants.  It is supposed to help with depression.
Does anyone use this?
