Anxiety

12 years ago 0 880 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I generally do what I call "changing the channel".  Generally I become anxious when I am honed into a certain line of reasoning or should I say unreasoning.  Once I have managed to catch the thought pattern that is causing me to feel anxious, I make myself "change the channel".

Deep breathing when anxiety hits me. If I'm really keyed up and I'm in a place where I can get by with it, I make noise as I breathe out.

Once you quit smoking you may feel anxious or nervous. Here’s some tips to help you through these periods:

•    Take a walk.
•    Take a hot bath.
•    Try a massage.
•    Try to take a few minutes out of your day to meditate, or do stretching exercises.
•    Set aside some quiet time every morning and evening—a time when you can be alone in a quiet environment.

What else do you do to manage anxiety?
