I find that I can often use my faith to motivate me when I remember that I am not in charge! There is a force in this universe or above and beyond this universe that created us and is running the show.... ie. there is definitely a power larger than myself whom many (including me) call God. Relaxing into that fact and givng up my need to control everything and everybody helps me to accept myself and even my depression. Who is to say that depression doesn't serve some greater plan than we can comprehend. I am not saying that we shouldn't try to heal that wound and to climb out of the black hole depression can be only that it is all a part of life for reasons we are not meant to comprehend necessarily.

hi i am frustrated. i wrote a long complicated, but what I considered a inspirational message about the power of God, how He can love us, forgive us, listen to us etc etc. when i went to post it, the "log in" message came on. my wise words floated off into oblivium, never to be read. Can anyone comment on how i might use faith and God's word as a positive energizing force in my life. I am a little cynical about organized religion and an ocassional-neophyte-Christian. Peace and love bob
