Good for you Cassy. Dead right about not going through this again - once is bad enough.

I'm doing better now. I'm changing the way I think. Every craving is a reminder why I shouldn't start again. There's no way in hell I'm going through these again. :)
Hi Cassy, how are you doing? I'm on day 18 now and it is getting easier. Days 2,3,4, round there I found really tough and wondered about giving in. But I hung on and am getting some reward now as the urges are reducing and I can start to focus on the benefits - all those reasons we decided to try to quit.
Good luck
Dave

Cassy,
How did you do? You body is challenging you, so fight back and persevere. Keep busy and go to bed early.
You can do this :)

Cassy, try deep breathing, slowly. It helps! Or go find a coffee straw or soft drink straw and chew/suck on it. It helps too, and you won't have yo yell or even break something! It's just the junkie yelling at you for his fix! You can do it! Its a few days of this, but it does get better. Remember it is a mental battle...tell that Junkie you are not giving in. Pump yourself up with self talk (I can do this! I am a non smoker! I am quit for life! Smoking is not an option! Not One Puff Ever) Do these things whne you get a bad crave and you can make it through! Hang in there! :)
